ona-ji, dō
When two things are the same, we express them as onaji. The same and onaji are the same.
When two things are exactly the same, they are described as dōitsu. However, being identical and dōitsu are not always the same. Identical twins are called ichiranseisōseiji. Ichiransei means one-egg; sōseiji means twins. You can see this word in Japanese -> here.
When you feel or think the same way as others do, your feeling is dōkan. If you want to mean that you agree with somebody, you can say “dōkandesu.”
When you feel sad or sorry for others, you are feeling dōjō. With –suru, it becomes the verb, dōjōsuru, which means to sympathize.
